Mikey (Dirty Dancing)

Mikey, the founder of Strictly Sinful, has been teaching for 20 years. Renowned for his sexy, playful dance moves, Mikey’s fun teaching style engages both male and female dancers alike, across all age groups. His amazing “Slow and Sensual, “Squeeze and Tease” and “Sinful Treble” routines are by far the most popular, successful and entertaining classes in the world of jive, incorporating a range of “Hips, Dips and Red Hot Tips” that dancers can adapt and use on the dance floor.Not only are Mikey’s lessons innovative and highly appealing, they are technically gratifying too.Mikey can be seen at various Weekender events, such as Camber, Bognor for Jivetime and Warmwell for Party Weekenders and as far and wide in UK venues from Brighton to Leeds !Although presently is concentrating on a new Dance company called Dance Dedication which is based in South Yorkshire

Meet The Teachers

At WestCoastSwing-JiveUK and CJ-Jive, we have a team with a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the West Coast Swing and Modern Jive dance. We are always pleased to welcome visitors, beginners and the more experienced dancers. Throughout our clubs you will find a friendly social atmosphere where teachers and staff are always willing to help.

Andy/Pat (West Coast Swing)

Andy and Pat have been teaching together for a number of years as independent teachers at dance venues around the country. Andy and Pat have danced at competition level; Andy has danced in cabaret and has choreographed routines for events and private functions such as the highly successful Spitfire Ball. Andy and Pat also specialise in assisting couples with wedding dance routines.

CJ (Lifts,Dips,Drops and Seducers)

CJ has been dancing modern jive for the past 15 years and teaching for a national organisation for the last 10. CJ is a specialist in teaching dips, drops and seducers; he is renowned for his teaching knowledge, with a keen eye for safety and floor craft, always adopting a fun approach to his classes.
Currently he is running two clubs; CJ-Jive and WestCoastSwing-JiveUK and is a specialist teacher for another dance organisation running regular events. CJ is enthusiastic and knowledgeable and is passionate about dance!

Andrew/Kim (Airsteps)

Andrew & Kim have been dancing modern Jive together for nearly a decade. Together they have specialised in, what is known in the industry as; airsteps. They have picked up four UK Airsteps titles between 2002 and 2005. Kim also won the 2003 showcase championship with Ash Nazir with the unforgettable rendition of 'Phantom Of The Opera'.

Andrew and Kim have worked for several dance organisations both teaching and performing and have danced at many public and private functions around the UK. Their latest project is a performance at Milton Keynes theatre as part of the MK 40th Birthday celebrations.
